Govinda-kunda

It's the coronation ceremony where the demigods declared Krsna as Govinda, the "Protector of the Cows." We discussed this pastime in detail in one of our recent lectures. In the background is Govinda-kunda. On the far left we see the coward boys looking on in amazement. Around Krsna and Balaram are Ganesh, Siva, Indra, Yamaraja, Brahma, Kartikeya, Bhrigupati etc. We also see Airavata, Indra's elephant, Nandi the bull of Lord Siva, the swan carrier of Lord Brahma, Kartikeya's peacock and Yamaraja's buffalo. Durga devi's lion carrier is in front. And on the right there is Surabhi, the celestial cow. An amazing glimpse into our beloved Sri Vrindavan Dhama!
